Heal the Divide is committed to making healthcare advocacy accessible and community-driven through outreach programs that uplift voices, build local partnerships, and bring resources directly to those most affected by inequity.
Writing Thank You Notes to Doctors
At Heal the Divide, we believe that even small acts of gratitude can drive big change. Writing thank-you notes to doctors, especially those serving under-resourced or marginalized communities, is one way we uplift the people who make equity in healthcare possible. These messages not only recognize the compassion and dedication of providers who treat every patient with respect, but they also remind them that their work matters.
Thank you Mihika Shetty and Lina Ohrbeck for helping me in this mission!
Serving Underserved Patients in India
In partnership with local organizations and healthcare professionals, we help organize medical camps in underserved regions of India—where access to basic care is often limited or unavailable. These camps offer free check-ups, medications, and health education to families who might otherwise go without treatment. But more than that, they are about listening, understanding the barriers communities face and showing up with compassion and consistency. By meeting people where they are, we’re working to close the care gap and ensure that health is a right, not a privilege.
