Dhanyashree Ramanathan is a rising senior at Interlake High School with a deep passion for the intersection of healthcare and law. Throughout her high school career, her involvement in both fields has fueled her commitment to addressing healthcare-related issues and advocating against health disparities. Driven by a desire to inform and uplift her community, Dhanyashree strives to raise awareness about the systemic challenges within healthcare, especially those impacting teens and underserved populations. She believes in the power of using her voice to spark change and is dedicated to creating a more informed, equitable future for all.

Hi! My name is Mihika, I’m a senior at Interlake highschool who is passionate and determined to help people. Ever since I was little, I didn’t care much about what my actual future job was. My only requirement is that it should help people, and I hope to accomplish that through Heal the Divide.

Hi, my name is Surabhi, but I go by Ash! I’m an incoming freshman at UTD, majoring in Healthcare Studies with a pre-dental focus, and I plan to graduate in 2028. I’m currently a registered dental assistant, a martial arts instructor, and I also run my own nail business! I’ve always been passionate about dentistry and helping people feel confident and cared for, and my dream is to become an oral surgeon or orthodontist. I decided to get involved in starting this chapter because I noticed a lot of barriers when it came to healthcare equity during high school. That experience really opened my eyes, and I knew I wanted to do something about it. I’m incredibly passionate about spreading awareness, advocating for change, and creating opportunities for others to get involved. I’m so excited to be part of this journey and to work with others who care about making a meaningful impact in our communities!
